Giacomo Colombo, a former world speed boat champion, founded his boat yard in 1962 in Menaggio, Lake Como, Italy. The boat yard initially served as one of the most successful dealers for Riva boats, but it gradually moved on to produce its own line of high quality motor boats.

The Colombo story is unique; a boat yard building luxury motor boats, evolving over a 50 year period, refining their product, but with no desire to follow the design fashions that have come and gone. Colombo boats are crafted and timeless, each one possessing a spirit, so rare in a modern production boat.

For over forty years the Colombo boatyard has been famous for the meticulous care its highly skilled and experienced staff dedicate to every step of the construction process, ensuring that the same patient and painstaking craftsmanship goes into the manufacture of every single craft.
