BROKER'S COMMENTS
This TT Boat Designs 42 was built by Halmatic, who have combined their standards of sea-keeping and safety demanded by the professionals with a well fitted out interior. The legendary Nelson handling in a sea way comes as standard, and a surprisingly spacious interior makes her the most capable cruising boat.
DICKENS is currently lying in Poole harbour and is well worth viewing.

FURTHER COMMENTS
DICKENS was built by Halmatic and was the 1978 boat show model. The boat has undergone a major refit in the last 3 years. The details of work undergone are highlighted as follows:
Engines stripped and rebuilt including new pistons, liners, valve guides and shells, etc.
Starboard engine new heat exchanger, new turbo, new exhaust hose.
Fuel tank lids removed and tanks cleaned, valves replaced and reinstalled. New cutlass bearings.
All hydraulic hoses on engines renewed.
All skin fittings overhauled or renewed. All hoses renewed in heads.
New windlass and chain.
New freshwater pump.
New cooker and fridge.
New tender and liferaft.
New GPS sensor.
Generator top end overhaul and repainted.
New forward cabin and aft cabin windows.
New upholstery and headlinning.
New curtains.
New foam cushions in galley.
The master cabin was refited during winter 2005 including windows, carpet, upholstery, curtains and headlining.
This now offers a very capable boat that has been extensively overhauled by a qualified marine engineer in both mechanical and cosmetic terms.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation, which sleeps 7, is entered through a sliding door on the port side of the deckhouse. This offers an L-shaped settee which converts to a single berth, an interior helm position and navigation area with various lockers.
The engine room is beneath. Steps lead forward and down to a double dinette dining area to port with spacious galley to starboard comprising plastimo cooker with 3 rings, grill and oven, sink with hot and cold pressurised water, fridge (2003), various cooking utensils and cutlery and crockery.
Going forward there is heads to port with washbasin and shower opposite and in the fore cabin, two V-berths with lockers beneath and two hanging wardrobes.
Down steps aft of the saloon is a large and spacious master cabin with two single berths with bedside cabinet and lockers beneath, ensuite heads with wash basin and a large hanging locker.
