BROKERS COMMENTS
ARABELLA V with her fair hull and clean deck line is from the yard of Anker & Jensen, builders of five of these stunning cruiser racers of which she is believed to have been the last one. Superbly constructed of the best available materials, she is in substantially original condition.
Like her sisters the cockpit is deep, secure and comfortable and she can be easily sailed by two people particularly with the furling system and the outer head sail. Even reefed down with stay sail and reefed main, therefore, the yacht has the shape to be easily driven yet to be reasonably fast and easily sailed by a small crew.
Her International Rule boat racing provenance, along with the cruising capabilities that these Scandinavian designers seemed to achieve so effortlessly, lends her a beauty of line unsurpassed by many of the cruiser racers that followed.
