Levi Triana 25

BROKER'S COMMENTS

Another much loved Levi classic express cruiser, featuring the famous race bred deep V-hull. She is fitted with twin OMC diesel engines and has had many sympathetic updates. It is difficult to find a more usable classic!

ACCOMMODATION

The cabin is entered from the cockpit via a two-part teak door, a lifting hatch and down a step. Immediately to port is the galley with its spacious worktop, inset sink and top loading storage cupboard. A 2-burner gas cooker with grill is located here and under the main unit are lockers for food and cooking utensils.

Outboard under the side deck are cut-outs for the crockery and yet another locker for glasses. Set into the after bulkhead is the electric panel.

On the starboard side of the cabin entrance is the door into the toilet compartment. In here a manual sea toilet is mounted on a plinth outboard under the side deck at the aft end whilst the basin is located at the forward end. Cave lockers for the toiletries are built in directly under the side windows. A mirror is placed on the inside of the entrance door and in the roof is a night light and ventilator.

Directly in front of the toilet compartment is a ¾ height hanging clothes locker with a useful shelf on top.

Running across the cabin at its widest point is a U-shaped settee with stowage under. In front of this a dining table can be mounted on a pedestal catering for up to four crew. The settee converts into a spacious double berth by inserting an infill in place of the table, removing the backrests and placing them in a space up in the bows. An escape/ventilation hatch is placed under the foredeck. There are two lockers outboard of the settee on each side and set forward bulkhead is an access hatch to the chain locker up in the bows. The side windows let in plenty of light and altogether this is a very airy and luxurious cabin.

Up in the cockpit the helm position is to port and comprises of a single pedestal mounted helm seat set in front of a comprehensive array of engine instruments. Footrests are provided on the seat pedestal and in the form of a locker on the floor. A matching seat and footrests located to starboard for the navigator together with a grab rail and the navigation instruments are inserted into the instrument console or on top of the dashboard. Visibility is excellent through the two part stainless steel windscreen and side screens. Cavernous cave lockers are placed in the cockpit comings. Seat lockers are placed on each side of the cockpit aft and this butt up to the raised engine hatch that runs across the stern. A sun bed is located on top of the engine box and the dining table can be brought up from the cabin and inserted in the cockpit floor for al fresco dining. Padded backrests are fitted and grab rails on the cockpit coamings ensure crew safety. The cockpit floor is laid to teak as are the seat locker and engine box tops and looks quite stunning. Set into the floor are flush mounted hatches giving access to the fuel tank and bilge. The cockpit has a spray hood and backdrop as well as a bimini extension and a tonneau is also supplied.

The recent and powerful omc turbo diesels, based on the austrian stryr engines, have been beautifully inserted into the engine room with room to service them and carry out daily level checks. They are extremely clean as are the bilges and are a pleasure to inspect.

The side decks are pleasantly wide compared to modern boats and hove good non-slip finish to them. The foredeck is surrounded by stainless steel pulpit whilst the aft cockpit has a stainless steel handrail running all the way around. Mooring cleats are substantial fore and aft. The anchor self-stows over the bow roller and a neat electric anchor winch is fitted. Teak grab rails are mounted on the cabin roof.
