BROKER'S COMMENTS

The Spirit 46 truly set Spirit Yachts on the right track, and no wonder; this design has many of the answers if you are searching for modern racing and cruising performance with the emotional satisfaction of an incredibly beautiful hull form, startling ease of handling, and an interior as elegant as her external lines would suggest. HELEN OF DURGAN benefits from a meticulous 2015 refit by the builders to optimise racing efficiency and cruising comfort while further enhancing her appearance. Turnkey may be an overused word, but HELEN OF DURGAN is now surely the most sorted of all the Spirit 46s.

HISTORY

HELEN OF DURGAN was first commissioned for cruising and occasional regattas in Greece as LITTLE FEAT, then remained there as JIL with her second owner. Under present UK ownership, renamed HELEN OF DURGAN she enjoyed a major 2015 refit in the hands of her original builders which included upgrading her racing equipment and cruising comforts. Subsequently HELEN OF DURGAN has been a regular Spirit of Tradition participant at the British Classic Yacht Club/ Panerai classic regattas at Cowes, at Falmouth Week, and more recently at the Hamble Classics Regatta. She has also cruised extensively on the south coast of England.
