From the board of Alan Buchanan, SKEAN DHU is almost typical of the very capable, moderately long-ended and heavily ballasted smaller yachts from this designer – perfectly suited to cruising or racing. This boat was originally well built and has benefitted from caring owners. She had a new teak deck laid in 2001. Her sails and rig are recent and inventory impressive for a smaller yacht.
ACCOMMODATION AND DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT
- 5 berths in 2 cabins (3 in saloon, 2 forward)
- Quarter starboard berth doubles as seat for chart table
- Headroom 6 ft plus
- SL toilet and washbasin in heads compartment
- Galley professionally refitted 2011
- Taylors 030 Paraffin 2 burner hob cooker, separate oven and burner with 1.5 gallon s/s tank (full manufacturers’ service 2010 and burners replaced)
- Mahogany interior with blue dralon upholstery
- Eberspacher warm air cabin heating

- 2 x Anderson 46 ST 2 speed s/s for headsail.
- Mainsail reefing lines self tailers,
